Agree on the Finish You Want

Point out the marks that concern you. Dirt, algae, mineral deposits, oxidation and failing coatings may look similar from a distance but require different decisions. A reasonable estimate explains the proposed treatment and any limitations without promising that every surface will look new.

Document Delicate and Damaged Areas

Tell Ryan about leaking windows, loose trim, damaged roof tiles, peeling paint and unusual coatings before cleaning. Keep equipment manuals available when they specify care requirements. If a surface appears unsuitable for washing, discuss a separate assessment before including it in the work.

Solar Equipment and Bird Barriers

Cleaning and exclusion work should be reviewed against the installed panel and mounting system. Ask how the array remains accessible for servicing, whether any attachment is proposed, and who will check the equipment manufacturer’s instructions. Cleaning is not an electrical inspection or a promise of a particular output increase.

Written Terms for Your Appointment

Keep the estimate, included surfaces, agreed preparation, price and appointment details together. Ask about any service-specific assurance directly, including its duration and exclusions. A manufacturer’s equipment warranty is separate from the cleaning work requested here.

After the Visit

If something needs another look, contact Ryan with the address, visit date and a photo taken from a safe location. New dust, rain splash and bird activity can change the appearance after cleaning; describe when the issue appeared so the next step can be discussed clearly.
